Star Fox (working title) is a 3D rail shooter game for the Wii U. It is the sixth Star Fox game, and is the first original title for the series to be released in nine years.
Gameplay
The game uses a new dual-screen mechanic, turning the Wii U GamePad into the view of the cockpit in the Arwing fighter, while the TV screen shows the perspective from behind the Arwing. Players can also use the gyro sensors of the GamePad to independently target enemies. Additionally, you can switch between the Arwing and Landmaster tank with the press of a button. The game also introduces a new helicopter-type vehicle.
